Meet Sam Mitani , at Japanese Nostalgic Car booth at All Toyotafest on June 8th!

The former International Editor of Road & Track Magazine introduced enthusiast Japanese cars to American readers. He was the first Asian staff writer to join one of the Big Three car publications!

In 2018, he authored his first novel, The Prototype, which won the prestigious Gold Prize in the Thriller category of the 2019 New Generation Indie Book Awards!! His second novel, Red Mist, released recently, features a number of Japanese cars, with the protagonist driving a Lexus GS F. Nearly all softcover editions of Red Mist have been sold out at Amazon; however, if you hurry, you might be able to purchase one, but as of this writing, only five remained.

Mitani also authored a special book that commemorated the 50th anniversary of CALTY, (CALTY Design Research) Toyota’s design studio in Newport Beach, the first automotive design studio in California. Unfortunately, this book is not available to the public, but one will be given away as a PRIZE at Toyotafest!!

Mitani will be on hand at the JNC booth. There will be hardcover editions of Red Mist for sale, and he will be available to autograph copies!!
