Remembering Carlyn Dinkler
The Toyota Owners and Restorers Club is saddened to learn of the passing of Carlyn Dinkler, a longtime friend of the vintage Toyota community and a true authority on the classic Toyota Corona.
Carlyn’s knowledge, particularly of the early Corona, was exceptional. For many years, owners and restorers turned to him for hard-to-find parts, technical knowledge, and guidance in keeping these special Toyotas on the road and preserved for future generations.
More than an expert, Carlyn was someone who generously shared his knowledge and passion with fellow enthusiasts. His contributions helped preserve an important part of Toyota history, and his presence will be greatly missed by the TORC and classic Toyota community.
Our sincere condolences go out to Carlyn’s family, friends, and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. His legacy will live on through the many Coronas and Toyota enthusiasts he helped along the way.
Here is to share one of many articles about him.
